JOKES PIERCE THE HEART TOO!

"Hahaha....Funny" they will say outdoors when a joke is made or they are being mooned.

"Wait!why will she call me stingy? Am I?What gave her such opinion about me?what the heck!"they will ponder, troubled and frustrated

Who are"they"? Humans! Ever been scoffed for a reason and you laugh like it really seem hilarious yet it pierce your heart so bad?        I could call myself "devilish" as I always hanker to see the facial expression of those being jested. Over the years, I've come to realise that humans are facade wearers, acting fine even when things are not fine or maybe they possess that great spirit of optimism.

Numerous nights have I sat to ponder on some words or jokes hurled at me but it's evident 90 percent of the words used in a joke to make jest is partly true! So today, I compiled 5 things people will act fine about But later ponder on it at night.

Weight - You're obese! You're too slim with no boobs/yansh- You're too fat!Outrageous! that moment you're being called fat and you just shake your bums to act like you care less and boom! later,You check out your arms and thighs like to affirm! A major joke most people tend to flare up because- it's anything related to weight!

 

Height - People considered as short tend to receive more ridicule than the tall ones. Well, the issue of height at times is not trivlal and the one tagged as too short or tall might flare up instantly than being considered too fat or too skinny. Other behavioural related ridicule instances are "pride, discontentment and more.

Fear - You're a chicken. This word is what we call "deep". So many people have done terrible things just to certify that they're not a chicken as thought When this statement is uttered, most humans stay calm first, rethink and mesmerize and later brace up to make you see 

that they are the king of the jungle! Maybe cowards won't do this but it's to be believed that being seen as "scared" is man's biggest fear!

Rejection - No one wants you, Cecilia.." a friend cites

"Hahaha, you joke!" Cecilia replies 

Later at night , Cecilia starts feeling bad; I'm worthless, that was why Mark left! this statement might be uttered by the speaker as a joke but we humans are what we are - emotional ones!

Hatred - "Girl, I hate you!" think it's ludicrous?At times, it happens. If someone tells you I hate you, what will be your answer. Replying an " I hate you" message with a thanks or a laugh is commom but that unwanted feeling felt will linger till later and make you wonder if the speaker was only joking especially if your crush mentioned this statement!

To this five aftermentioned words that makes one flare up later, You will agree with me but certainly , as humans we need to be watchful of the statements we utter and its effects!
