Self love totally depict regards for one's self and love of oneself. It's been argued that when self-love is neglected, loving others might be difficult. How true is the word "you can't love someone if you don't love yourself "?

How do you love yourself? Can you say you love yourself? Isn't it called a selfish act or stupid notion? 

Sometimes, you are left alone to make some decisions, you become faced with realities of life and energy-sapping obstacles and this will surely open your mindset to the fact that you need "You" and you always will. Before you receive supports from others, You need yourself first;  before you have others believe in your capabilities and dreams, you have to first trust  yourself. Definitely, self -love is basic, meant to be part of us for if missing - self-hatred, lack of confidence, low self esteem leading to failure in achieving certain goals will set in.

It's high time we knew that self love is not related to arrogance, over-confidence and pride but a selfless act.
