MOTIVATION : NEED AND ITS IMPORTANCE

    John stepped further, recoiling with fear as he silently watched his fingers tremble. He felt restless and extremely shaken with swear trickling down his knees leaving his knicker shorts - damp. With the glinting sun flashing its rays of light on his forehead and his sweaty palms clasping the torn edges of his Elementary textbook, John flinched - uttering nothing. 

               "You're good for nothing. Feel you're capable of winning the spelling bee? Incredible. You're horrible!" Jasper shouted once more, grinning. John walked along the pedestrian lane , being downcasted and the dauntlessness that once arose in him has faded. 

  Awakened, he took to his heels with his boots sogged by the mud. 

             "I'll run home and listen to mother read the story of King Jaja. " He assured himself, still running. 

We all have that which motivates us, the internal or the external. That which we assure ourselves with and words of encouragements from others. 

Ever felt so downcasted before and at a flash, a word from someone enlightens your mood? You're fuming for your boss incurred your wrath and getting home, your kid makes funny faces - you laugh, forgetting your earlier mood? Motivation! The driving force in our life, that which impel us to work towards success. In life, there are dissapointments. Ever wondered why suicide rate is high? Disappointments, rejection and refusals are reasons but there's no closed door to hopes and it's of great value to you  if you are hopeful. There's no source of motivation better than that which you give yourself! 

Your internal motivation ( your beliefs and attitudes) is a great aid to attain greatness! No doubt, motivation has been of great aid even till this age!

        The wind of life can blow one off at a split second yet motivation have always been there to bring us back to our feet. The Bible, word of advice, E-books and quotes motivates better! 

The spice of life can be sweet or sour and today, I've decided to share you one of my poems titled The Spice of Life! 

When the spice of life tastes sour, 

With hurdles rising to threaten more.

What have we to say about dashed hopes?

Leaving our bones weak, with dreams in shatters.

Life will leave you in maze, 

As ye thread on its trailing path.

A battlefield it is but be not in daze.

Get ready the amulets or accept defeat! 

A lady swinging, man with rope on neck. 

The spice of life - sweet or sour, 

While gaiety with success, daily allies to one, 

Yet gloom and failure - daily allies to another. 

When the spice of life tastes sour,

You, the music box awaits. 

Dance away your sorrow, they say. 

The spice of life will fade but will he accept defeat?
