The Parade

This week's blog is never complete without adding poetry!
Poetry entails life itself!
I love poetry and I hope you do too
How has this week been so far? Stressful, interesting, achieving!
Yeah, poetry ought to be updated every Wednesday and I do apologize for taking time but here is one you would love to read titled The Parade!

THE PARADE

A young man - Himself, he called,
Yet with acts, dumb like a little lad.
A cheerful giver - He struts and claims,
With beguiling parade repugnant as stench .

Haughtily, he vaunt with much carriage,
Before the old, ragged man with stretched palms.
Coins poured like seived flour, toothless man in awe.
Nay! If man was to be God, earth will crumble!

A freewill give with good intent abases none,
Yet with poised shoulders, man will parade.
From dawn till nightfall and like Pharisee, he boasts.
Yet a tawdy display is giving without giving!
